Interior Car Detailing in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
Interior detailing is a deep clean of every surface inside the cabin: vacuuming and extraction of carpets and upholstery, steam cleaning of vents, seams and crevices, stain and odour treatment, and conditioning of leather and plastics with UV protection on the surfaces that fade.
What a deep clean covers
A vacuum and a wipe-down is maintenance. A deep clean goes after everything that has worked its way into the cabin over years of use: grit compacted into carpet backing, spills that have dried into the fibres of a seat, film built up on the dash and door cards, and dust packed into vents, seat rails and seatbelt slots.
Everything is done in place, at your home or workplace, with our own water and power supply.
- Full vacuum including under seats, seat rails and the trunk
- Steam cleaning of vents, seams, switchgear and crevices
- Shampoo and hot-water extraction of carpets, mats and cloth seats
- Surface stain removal from upholstery and floor mats
- Leather cleaned and conditioned rather than just wiped
- UV protection applied to the high-impact plastic and vinyl surfaces
- Glass cleaned inside, including the top edge of the windscreen
Why steam matters in a damp climate
Steam does two things a spray bottle cannot. It lifts contamination out of the tight seams, vent louvres and stitching that a cloth simply pushes it further into, and it sanitises without soaking the material.
That second point matters in the Lower Mainland. Over-wetting an interior in a climate this damp is how you end up with a car that smells worse a week later than it did before it was cleaned. Controlled steam and proper extraction take the moisture back out instead of leaving it in the foam.
Odours, pets and mould
Most odour problems are a source problem, not an air-freshener problem. Spilled milk under a seat, a damp footwell from a leaking seal, or a pet that rides in the back every day will keep producing smell no matter what is sprayed over it. We find and treat the source first.
Pet hair woven into carpet and upholstery is removed mechanically before any wet work starts, because hair that gets wet is far harder to lift. Ozone treatment and dedicated mould removal are available as add-ons where an interior needs more than a deep clean.
Leather that lasts
Leather fails at the bolsters and the driver's seat base first, because that is where body oils, denim dye and repeated friction concentrate. Cleaning strips that contamination out of the grain; conditioning puts moisture back so the surface stays flexible instead of drying out and cracking.
Perforated leather is treated carefully so cleaner is not driven down into the seat foam through the holes, which is a common way to create an odour problem while trying to solve a dirt one.

Interior Deep Clean Questions
How long does interior detailing take?
Several hours for a full interior on its own. A complete detail covering interior and exterior together typically takes 4 to 6 hours depending on vehicle size and condition.
Can you get pet hair out of the carpets?
Yes. Pet hair removal is a dedicated stage done before any wet work, since hair that has been wetted is much harder to lift out of carpet and upholstery.
Do you remove smells, or just cover them?
We treat the source. Odour removal starts by finding what is producing the smell, and ozone treatment is available where a cabin needs more than cleaning alone.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. As long as we have access to the vehicle and a power outlet nearby, you can carry on with your day.
